AKOLA LAW COLLEGE (ALC) was established in 2004-05 by AKOLA EDUCATION SOCIETY, AKOLA, with a legacy of over 80 years of devotion and commitment to the course of quality education. It started functioning in the academic session 2005-06 with Dr. S. C. Bhandari M.Com., M.A., LL. B., Ph.D. as the Founder Principal. AKOLA LAW COLLEGE started functioning by admitting students to Semester I from the academic session 2005-06. It grew under the able stewardship of Dr. S. C. Bhandari, M. Com. M.A., LL.B., Ph. D. the founder Principal. Since 2009-10 Prof. Mrs. Ratna Chandak has been the officiating Principal. In the very first year of its inception, ALC organized a University level Seminar on "The role of University Teachers in the changing scenario of Higher Education", which was inaugurated by. Dr. Patil V.C. of Amravati University. The chronological sequence of other events organized by the College is as under: 2006-07 a) Maharashtra State Law Teachers Conference. b) Voyage : 2006 : A Two Day workshop for students. Topic : 'Confidence Building and career Advancement' 2007-08 a) Para-legal Training workshop. b) Educational Tour : Visit to the Supreme court of India, the Parliament, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Tajmahal and sight-seeing.
