Govindram Seksaria Science (GSS) College is known for quality education and the all-round development of individuals. The College regards itself as an academic community where scholars, both students and teachers have the freedom and responsibility to communicate, evaluate and enlarge mankind's store of knowledge. It stands for academic excellence and endeavors to create an environment, which generates love for learning, habits of critical thought and effective communication. It thereby aims to equip its students with an intellectual, mental and moral outlook that will make them worthy members of society. Our effort in this direction has been appreciated by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which has awarded ‘A’ grade to our institution in September 2009 after re-accreditation. The college has been recognized as a ‘College with Potential for Excellence’ by UGC: Dedicated staff, airy lecture halls, well-equipped laboratories, rich library help create studious atmosphere. It is not surprising that our students have consistently fared very well in the university examinations. With the commencement of M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry and Post-graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, we are into the Postgraduate education. We intend to start a few more PG courses in the coming years.
