Established in 1988 to deliver the direly needed quality health care in and around Salem, Sri Gokulam Hospital, true to its culture and tradition has brought comprehensive modern medical care and technologies, hitherto confined to urban areas only, to the door step of the rural populace which comprises 70% of the total population. The Hospital has been constantly modernized and upgraded and it caters to all sections of the society. Sri Gokulam Hospital has now grown to a 300 bedded modern regional multi specialty referral hospital with a complete range of ultra modern diagnostic tools - all under one roof. It is the aim of the management to make the hospital complete in all respects to make Salem and the surrounding areas self sufficient in health care. Sri Gokulam Hospital, Salem has been currently accredited by National Board of Examinations (NBE) for conducting the DNB Program in “General Medicine and Obstetrics & Gynaecology”.
